In the latest edition of our COVID 19: Newsletter Series, we are going fully Irish! To kick things off we have consulted the expertise of some of our promising Irish Emergency Medicine Trainees who give us a birds eye view of what treating patients in this new world looks like for them.
TheCase.Report team, made up of a number of EM Trainees – Mohammed, Karl and Safras, take a ‘real life’ example of the typical patient that comes into Irish EM Depts and thoroughly dissects the steps they as EM physicians take to come to their diagnosis and what treatment follows. The team also gives their listeners a deep dive into how the current pandemic has impacted their daily work routine.
For their debut, the TheCase.Report team have put together a polished piece. We think you will agree. We look forward to episode 2 – due June 8th. Jump into episode 1 below.
For our self care tip we go to none other than Dublin born doctor, musician, triathlete, mental health champion and all around nice guy Niall Breslin. Niall has been bringing music to the nations ears for years.
No stranger to the podcast game, Niall’s latest podcast offering – Wake Up / Wind Down – has shot straight to the top 3 in the Irish podcast charts. This is a twice daily podcast series helping you start and end your day in the right frame of mind. Proving especially useful in these testing times.
One thing our Dublin team misses during the nation wide lockdown is the music that runs through the streets of Dublin city. Lucky for us, some very familiar faces of the Dublin busking scene have come together with their take on a real classic.
We hope you enjoyed this edition of COVID 19: Newsletter Series! If you have an informative or feel good story you want to share let us know and we will include it in our next edition of COVID 19: Newsletter Series.
