Locum General Internal Medicine Registrar

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with general medical conditions.
• Conduct ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and support day-to-day inpatient care.
• Work closely with consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Contribute to clinical audits, case reviews, and departmental meetings.

Requirements:

• Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
• At least 2 years of post-internship clinical experience, including experience in General Medicine.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a locum role.
