Job description

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute medical, surgical, and trauma conditions
• Perform basic emergency procedures under supervision
• Collaborate with registrars, consultants, and the wider ED team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Participate in clinical meetings, teaching sessions, and on-call duties as required
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements

• Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)
• At least one year of post-internship experience (ED or acute care experience preferred)
• Basic life support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are desirable
• Eligibility to work in Ireland, as sponsorship will not be provided for locum vacancies
