Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, manage, and treat a variety of general medical conditions.
• Supervise junior doctors and contribute to their training and development.
• Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and on-call duties as required.
• Work collaboratively with other specialties to ensure integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with hospital policies.
• Engage in audit, quality improvement, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

• Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
• Specialist registration in General Internal Medicine (or eligibility).
• Proven experience at consultant level in general medicine.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to the demands of a locum role.
