Emergency Specialist- Cruise Doctor

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our medical team aboard a luxury cruise ship. This role is perfect for a doctor with a strong background in emergency care and at least 5 years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED). You will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to passengers and crew, often in urgent and critical situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies on board.
• Manage and stabilize patients with acute conditions or injuries.
• Collaborate with the ship’s medical team for ongoing patient care.
• Handle medical evacuations when necessary.
• Maintain medical records and communicate with shore-side medical facilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD/DO)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Emergency Medicine.
• Valid medical license and certifications (ACLS, BLS, ATLS).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Contract Details:

• Two contracts per year, each lasting 4 months.
• Tax-free salary of $10,000 per month.
