Emergency Medicine Consultant

We are currently seeking a passionate Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our dedicated team in Co. Kerry. In this role, you will be instrumental in our Emergency Department,The Emergency Department of University Hospital Kerry supports around 35,000 patients each year.

The primary responsibilities of consultants in the ED include:

• Fostering a culture of mentorship and collaboration withing the emergency department
• The consultant will participate in the Emergency Medicine department rotas
• The Emergency Medicine consultant is required to collaborate effectively with all other consultants at Mater University Hospital to ensure the delivery of high-quality emergency care

• Providing strategic leadership to enhance our emergency services.
• Cultivating a culture of mentorship and collaboration within the department.

Requirements:

Eligible to register with the IMC under the specialist registration
Relevant experience as an Emergency Medicine Specialist/Consultant

€224,000-269,000 per annum
