About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Anaesthetic Registrar to join our esteemed medical team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing anaesthetic care, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to our high standards of clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anaesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement anaesthetic plans.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations.
- Engage in clinical teaching and supervision of junior staff and students.
- Contribute to ongoing research and professional development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree with specialization in anaesthesia.
- MCAI or equivalent is required.
- Hold active Irish Medical Council Registration or in the process.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Anaesthesia with at least 1 year at registrar level.
- Strong clinical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
