Anaesthetic Registrar

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Anaesthetic Registrar to join our esteemed medical team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing anaesthetic care, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to our high standards of clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer anaesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement anaesthetic plans.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations.
  • Engage in clinical teaching and supervision of junior staff and students.
  • Contribute to ongoing research and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree with specialization in anaesthesia.
  • MCAI or equivalent is required.
  • Hold active Irish Medical Council Registration or in the process.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Anaesthesia with at least 1 year at registrar level.
  • Strong clinical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
