Intensive Care/ Emergency- Cruise Doctor

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Doctor with mixed experience in Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine to join a fantastic medical team aboard a luxury cruise ship. This role is ideal for a doctor with a strong background in critical care and at least 5 years of experience in ICU/ED. You will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to passengers and crew, often in urgent and life-threatening situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies requiring critical care intervention.
• Manage and stabilize critically ill patients with acute conditions or injuries.
• Collaborate with the ship’s medical team for ongoing ICU-level care.
• Handle medical evacuations for critically ill patients when necessary.
• Maintain detailed medical records and coordinate with shore-side intensive care facilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD/DO)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an ICU/ED setting.
• Valid medical license and certifications (ACLS, BLS, ATLS).
• Ability to work independently in a remote and challenging environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Contract Details:

• Two contracts per year, each lasting 4 months.
• Tax-free salary of $10,000 per month.
